Default rez shrine camping by AI

I thought Anet and Guildwars had fixed the issue of the AI camping rez shrines. Just had a full party wipe and booted from Bogroot dungeon cuz the monsters camped on the rez shrine after we died.

Actually, I NEVER saw a.net say they "fixed this." They only moved mobs away from the natural location of a res shrine. If you ran and pulled them towards you, that's what happens.

However, Bogroots IS notoriously bad for having monsters camp res shrines. The layout of that dungeon, where most players try to run away/around those stupid respawning exploding spore monsters backed by 3-4 monks which are often right near the... two res shrines on the whole level does make that dungeon particularlly easy to overaggro and pull mobs to the res shrine. Plus, hero AI really doesn't understand how to deal with those types of monsters too well.

Really, the best tactic for that is to have DP removal items handy and click on them as soon as you res. Then, even if you keep getting DP, you won't get kicked out of the dungeon. That temporary immunity you get after ressing will eventually allow you to wittle down any resistance.

As everyone pointed out, by luring the enemies to the shrine it might cause this. This happenened once when my guild did a dungeon.. managed to lure like 2-3 groups and were ganked like 5-6 times... fortunately one had dp removal.. so after a few tries we took down the groups in 4-5 secs when we had immunity to dmg..

Note too, that most of the time, the groups are on their way back to where you pulled them from while you a respawning. They usually just don't move fast enough to get out of agro range before you spawn. SO, technically, they are not "camping" - that is, they are not purposefully hanging around the rez shrine.
